Your journey begins in Guwahati, the largest city of Assam, located on the banks of Brahmaputra river. Guwahati offers a mix of ancient temples and modern attractions. Guwahati is known for various holy sites such as Kamakhya temple, perched on the Nilachal Hill, this temple is dedicated to Goddess Kamakhya and attracts thousands of devotees. You can also explore the Kalakshetra, a cultural institution that showcases Assam’s rich history through art, dance, and exhibitions. Not only this, you can also take an adventurous yet scenic Brahmaputra river cruise and boost your adrenalish rush.
• Welcome to Guwahati! Your adventurous journey awaits.
• On arrival at Guwahati Airport/Railway Station and warm greetings, you will proceed to your hotel in Guwahati. Guwahati is a sprawling city beside the Brahmaputra River in Assam, known for holy sites like the hilltop Kamakhya Temple, which features shrines dedicated to Hindu deities like Shiva and Vishnu.
• Later, you visit Kalakshetra.
• In the evening, you can enjoy a Brahmaputra River Cruise (additional ticket charges) and return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
• After breakfast, start your journey to Dirang, a small hill station in West Kameng district. The spectacular landscape and serene nature will soothe your body and soul.
• You will visit Kalachakra Gompa (Dirang Monastery) and explore the local flora, including kiwi orchards. Continue to Dirang Dzong, a 150-year-old fort offering excellent views of the surroundings.
• Upon arrival in Dirang, check-in at your hotel.
• In the evening, visit the hot water springs, regional sheep farms, Sangti, and the Yak Research Center.
• You will have an overnight stay in Dirang.
• After breakfast, drive to Sangti Valley (about 15 km from Dirang), known for its breathtaking beauty and wide variety of fruits like apples, kiwis, corn, and green leafy vegetables. Sangti Valley is also popular among birdwatchers due to the migratory birds that frequent the area.
• Afterward, head to Mandala Hilltop, famous for birdwatching and home to 108 stupas.
• You will also visit Lubrang Valley and the Dirang Monastery before returning to Dirang for the night.

• After breakfast, proceed on a scenic drive to Tawang, passing through the beautiful Sela Pass — the only route connecting Tawang to the rest of India. Enjoy views of the snow-covered peaks of the eastern Himalayas.
• Visit the Sela Lake en route.
• Upon arrival, visit the Tawang Monastery and check in to your hotel for an overnight stay.
• Post breakfast, you will visit Shonga-tser Lake (Madhuri Lake), surrounded by snow-capped mountains.
• Then head to Bum La Pass (15,200 ft above sea level), which lies at the Indo-China border.
• On your way back, stop at Heart Lake, PTSO Lake, and Naghula Lake. Afterward, return to your hotel in Tawang.
• In the evening, visit the Tawang War Memorial followed by an overnight stay in Tawang.

• After breakfast, drive to Bomdila, visiting Nag Temple, Gontse Garden, and Rabgye Ling Monastery en route. Also, stop at Nuranang Waterfalls (Jung Falls). Then, you will reach Bomdila.
• Upon arrival in Bomdila, check in at your hotel.
• If time permits, you can visit the Craft Center run by female traders, where you can purchase local wooden, bamboo products, and colorful clothes.
• Visit the museum to learn about the local culture and stay overnight in Bomdila.
• After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Tezpur. You will reach Tezpur.
• Upon arrival, check in at your hotel. After freshening up, visit Mahabhairab Temple, Agnigarh, and explore the local market.
• The rest of the day is free at your leisure followed by an overnight stay at Tezpur.
• After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Shillong.
• En route, visit Umiam Lake (Barapani), a scenic spot where you can enjoy a speed boat ride (additional cost).
• Afterward, continue your journey to Shillong and check in to your hotel upon arrival. Overnight stay in Shillong.
• After breakfast, you will travel to Cherrapunjee.
• En route, visit Shillong Peak (extra cost for taxi) for panoramic views of the city.
• You will visit Elephant Falls, one of the most popular waterfalls in the region and Nohkalikai Falls, the highest waterfall in India.
• Upon arrival in Cherrapunjee, if time allows, visit Mawkdok Dympep Valley Viewpoint and Mawsmai Cave.
• Overnight stay in Cherrapunjee.
Let the adventure begin!
• Early morning, embark on a trek to the Double Decker Root Bridge in Nongriat, located in the dense tropical forest. The trek takes around 5-6 hours round trip. You can also extend your hike to Rainbow Falls (about a 60 minutes hike from Nongriat).
• Alternatively, explore other attractions in Cherrapunjee, including Seven Sisters Waterfall, Eco Park, Wei Sawdong Falls, Arwah Cave, Wah-Kaba Falls, and the Garden of Caves.
• Return to your hotel in the evening followed by an overnight stay in Cherrapunjee.
• After breakfast, travel to Mawlynnong, the cleanest village in Asia (awarded in 2003).
• Explore the village on foot, visiting Balancing Rock, the Sky Viewpoint (Nohwet Viewpoint), and the longest living root bridge.
• Enjoy a local lunch in the village before proceeding to Dawki, a border town known for its crystal clear Umngot river. Enjoy a boating experience (additional cost). Return to Shillong and check in at your hotel for an overnight stay.
• After breakfast, check out from your hotel and drive back to Guwahati.
• Upon arrival, you can visit local markets for shopping.
• Later, transfer to the Guwahati Airport / Railway Station for your onward journey.
